50/50...Spurrier and company will start working this kid HARD again. They cannot afford to lose these kind of in-state players (including potentially Barnes). SC may have a difficult time depending on what happened which triggered the sudden change of heart.

From what Gray told Scout.com, this was a pretty thorough visit.

Lewis, Weis, Ianello and Minter were all there. They gave Gray and Mrs. Gray the golf cart tour. Gray met with business advisor and an "admissions guy", which I assume must have been Dan Saracino.

Gray's mother is quite impressed with ND, Lewis and Weis.

I simply think the in state pressure will be too much.

40%. Right now it looks good for ND but once south carolina gets involved it can all change for better or worst. lets hope spurrier and company find a way to blow this one. he really is the centerpiece of their class though and they wont go down without a fight.

yeah but im thinkin if spurrier and his staff go after the kid hardcore, it might be a kind of aturnoff...giving the impression of desperate usually is. Also, what else can they give? unless theyre planning on paying him...he knows what sc is gonna offer and what ND can offer. He wants national spotlight, win a title, and be groomed under a coach who will, matched with the effort he puts out, put him in the best position for going to the next level. And to be honest charlie weis and Notre Dame beat spurrier and South carolina in every category. ND has more to offer and a better future. The only thing SC has is it is close to home, which can be huge if hes close with his mother.
