Thought he was pretty high on ND a while back, and was wondering if anyone had heard anything about this safety? A big time, 5 star safety would be a nice addition to the d when tommy leaves.

All I have heard from other boards is he is still high on the Irish, but he has a conditional offer( grades) therefore we probably won't hear much until after summer classes. Just what i have heard, but really no great insider info.

Last I heard it was down to ND or SC, I think he will goto the gamecocks as a WR.

There's been practically no movement in his recruitment from what I've seen. I think that's a good indication for us, seeing as he has pretty much narrowed his list down to South Carolina and Notre Dame, and appears to be working to get that Notre Dame offer.

He could take the easy route and just commit to South Carolina, but his interest in ND appears to be legitimate.

Chirodomer on DD (who seems to have a connection) posted that he thinks we have Barnes locked up.

ND probably has a better shot with Barnes than they did with Gary Gray, but I don't think he's coming to ND. The Visor is doing a pretty good job in state and Barnes will wind up going there in the end.
