I think they're just an alternative jersey to make more money, like the vegas gold jerseys.

I hope we never wear the gold jerseys. With the helmet and pants, we'd look like a team of C3POs.

Yeah, probably...it's just odd since ND doesn't have that history of producing jerseys in every color of the rainbow. I mean, the brand is on everything as anyone who's walked through the new bookstore will attest, but jerseys always seemed to be limited. No pink jerseys to appeal to the ladies, etc.

I never thought of the army tribute...Would be a nice tribute if they did do that but we'll have to wait and see.

Purwho's all gold looks pathetic. if we ever did all gold it would look better only because we aren't purwho.

Makes me wonder if there really is something to these black jerseys on ebay. Why would the official shop be playing up the "black shirts"?

I certainly hope they don't use black.....I'm still made they changed to Adidas a few years back and changed the uniforms then.

I hope we don't start using alternate colors like a lot of other teams are doing now.

I would imagine that the green is the alternate color jersey, so why change it? Besides, its the original alternative jersey.

I thought there was some rule against using alternate colors, like they had to be the school colors or special colors. Because I think at Butler they stopped letting us wear our black uniforms because they weren't our school colors.
