Clausen's Schollie go on the 2005 class?

If Clausen is coming in Jan 2007 as an early enrollie can we use the 2005 scholarship for him? Also, would that improve our 2005 recruting ranking, or would that go on the 2006. Just curious.

I think there was one spot left in 05 (McCoy's slot) so I guess he could and probably will. He'll still count rankings-wise toward the 06 class.

I don't think we'll need the extra scholarship to make it #1. Just get the handful of big dogs that are out there, then fill in the rest with some good players. This class should be one for the ages.

all early enrollments in the 2007 class will go towards next years class (2008).

I forgot about Yeatman. You are 100% correct. Clausen will count against the 07 class, which can be no bigger than 25 guys. (which is more than enough after last year's haul)

I'm pretty sure you're right. Yeatman got that last spot when that one tight end decided to focus on architecture.

They mean that Yeatman counted to last year's total of brining in the 25 recruit limit.

I know there was 28, but the 3 early enrollees counted towards the year before. There was one spot open for McCoy, but he didn't take it. So technically, we had 24 recruits, and one spot left open.

So Yeatman became the 25th.
