"Coach Brian Polian from Notre Dame is supposed to be coming to my school the first week of May," said Wade.... "The best vibe that I have probably gotten is from Oregon State. They offered me the very first day they were allowed to. One day I received nine handwritten letters from Oregon State and just today I received five handwritten letters from them."

C/O Josh Helmholdt's article on BruinBlitz.com

I am now officially demanding to know what the hold up and hesitation is with Wade and the ND staff. I want answers.

ND doesn't see the same things you do Jigga. It doesn't mean they're right but their doesn't seem to be any urgency. I read this to mean that they must be in pretty good shape with Austin, Barksdale and Brent.

we need to get in the game on this one. he's a talented DT and a ND fan, we can not afford to lose him.

To me, Wade is better than both Blackwell and Davis, the other DT offered. He isn't Austin or Barksdale, though.

Something must be up. Weis, Minter, Oliver...someone must see something. Maybe Dan Saracino in admissions sees it.

One offer from Oregon State? What is the deal with Myles Wade?

your probbly on to something here. it seems very odd that a rivals top 100 player only has one offer on the table (oregon st.), their has to be more to this.

“I would like to say that I am an advocate for Special Olympics," he said. "I support it 100%. My sister has Down Syndrome and she is involved with the Special Olympics. I think everyone should be able to be active in sports and I will always help people participate in the Special Olympics.”

Quote from Mike Bakas article at Scout.com

His dad is a big ND fan, he has a 2.8 GPA and he shows the kind of character in his interviews that make him seem like a logical fit.

I am vexed. Truly vexed. I'm no Tom Lemming or anything, but I know enough to know that Wade should be right in line with Austin and Barksdale in terms of ability.

With a 2.8, he needs a decent, but not great test score. A lot of guys don't even have scores back yet. Maybe that's the hold up. Oregon St. has proven their academic and character standards to be lax.

I'm not dogging on this kid's academics. I'm just saying maybe the picture isn't complete yet. When it is, the offers will come. Including, hopefully, one from Charlie.
