Oglesby NOT Attending Blue and Gold Game

He told Irish Eyes that he actually committed to the Wisconsin spring game in Madison before he did the Blue and Gold Game, so he will be in Madison instead.

Nothing to really get excited about. Marvin Austin will be at the spring game and I don't think he's coming to ND. Oglesby is in much better standing with ND and they'll get him in camp this summer.

I find it interesting that Oglesby forgot about his trip to Madison. I think this is a two school race with ND out in front.

Weis has been talking to this dude forever. I don't think we should read to much into this, but it is interesting that he didn't just tell Wisconsin that he was going to ND that day instead of telling ND he was going to Wisconsin. It's going to be a war with most of these recruits we are after.

he could have talked to weis about it. and we know weis would tell him to honor his first commitment. while forgetting the details for the games is strange, just seeing this kid not lie to a school and screw them over like all those flakey decommitment kids is somewhat refreshing even if he wont be at the blue and gold game. we should get some info for the wisconsin sites....

I went to their free site on Rivals and most of the posts are about the Badger Hockey team and John Clay, which is totall understandable. Talking about Clay,t hat is.

This guy can come in and compete for two deep space right away. Having Oglesby and Sam Young, with Carufel and Stewart inside would be a dominant line for years to come.

He's a strong ND lean right now, has been to campus already and will be back again a few more times.

Oglesby tells BGI that he talks to Weis EVERY Friday.

From what I've read, he just seems like a really good down to Earth kid.

Don't see much of that anymore, what will press conferences and hat switching on national TV.
