Greg Little Sets His Announcement Date

He will decide on October 6, his high school's homecoming game according to the latest Rivals article.

Names his favorites as Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Clemson, South Carolina and Wake Forest. Then says he wants to play with quarterbacks like Mike Paulus, Jimmy Clausen, John Brantley (Texas) and Willy Korn (Clemson).

I'd like to see where everybody else goes, then go there.

Interesting scenario here. Ocotber 6 is less than six months away.

Doesn't sound good for Little. That's all right! We will get Benn, Kumara and likely a surprize. With Benn and Kumara in the fold, it may be hard to draw another Top 100 receiver.

If Little thinks Clausen is going to South Carolina, he has another thing coming to him.

Based on his list and the QBs he likes, he's going to Clemson.

this kid is amazing, but we dont want a kid like this. he isnt what true nd commits should be like and weis would tell him not to come. you have to make the decision on your own. not just follow some kids you met at a camp. what are the odds that he would show up to class more than a couple times if academics take a back seat the potential qb throwing passes to him? doent seem to have his priorities straight.

If I were a five star wide receiver I would want to play with the supposed best high school qb ever too. If I was that good, education would be behind playing with the best players in the country for me too. He can still get a good education at a place like Michigan. Yes I hate them too, but it isn't a bad school to go to even if you don't play sports.

Um.. I had been hearing from a number of people that ND is his favorite. My bet is that the writer just happened to 'leave out' ND's mention.

my point became a little diluted but what i'm trying to get a across is he isn't so much concerned with the school he's going to, the tradition it has, it's coaches, and yes it's academics. instead, the number one factor right now is following a group of other recruits to whichever school they choose. his comments make him seem fickle and that makes me nervous. he can wait as long as he wants, but should really try to use more productive factors in his decision making. perhaps the media is choosing to write about this and left out a bunch of quotes about education, tradition, etc. but all i have right now is the information above.

plus it looks to me like anyone, including my mother, could throw to him. he's got very good receiver instincts and knows how to get open.

I really hope he's ND. I would love the combination of Clausen, Benn, Little, and Tyler for the nucleus of our offense. With Weis, we'll always get some of the top O-Lineman in the country with Weis at the helm.

ND's pull is great and still mounting. With Clausen will come more blue-chippers. Benn is coming where JC comes, and I believe he is bring DT Marvin Austin. Little hopefully will be the same type of situation. Clausen, as some of you have mentioned, is the Lebron of college football, so to speak. If we don't get Little, then too bad it's his loss. We'll rebound and get other great receivers like Duval Kamara and Deonte Thompson.

I also mave and inclination that the writer fo the article left out his mention of ND purposly. Half the people in the country love ND and half the people hate ND, there's nothing we can do about it, but I believe we are very high on his list; he said that we were moving rapidly up his list when he got his offer.

Yes, there's no way in hell we're not on his list. Period.

The journalist is at fault, whether it was a mistake or not. Honestly, I don't care much because I know the next time he is interviewed we'll 'mysteriously' make a reappearance among the colleges he lists.

Little has also expressed interest in playing with Jimmy Clausen. I don't think its a situation where he would be a lean one way or another. We have as good a chance as anyone at getting Little.

He has offers from USC, Colorado, Penn State, Georgia, Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wake Forest.

That's just crazy.

Remember, the announcement is going to be October 6th. He claims he will narrow his list to five some time soon.
