That's quite an honor. Down here in Florida all Mr. Football winners have been skill position players. To win that award playing OL means you must be a damn good player.

I'm no recruiting expert, but it seems like Minnesota comes out with a good deal of talented offensive lineman. Perhaps this gives them that identity and that makes it easier to give the award to a lineman. In a speedy state like Florida where skill players put up outstanding numbers, it's hard to give it to a lineman.
