I have a gender reveal party to attend today for my future nephew or niece. One of the people in attendance today is a huge U of M fan, and honestly of all I know, the worse one of all. He's the type that no matter what their record or how horrible they are, they are winning the championship in everything. Its pathetic. Lol. The name sounds funny, but its a new age way to reveal the sex of an incoming child to the immediate family and friends I guess. First one I've been to, and actually first time I've heard of such a thing.

From my understanding each person wears pink or blue based upon their vote for the child. I believe at the last ultrasound, the nurse seals the ultrasound with the sex on it in an envelope. They took the envelope to a cake shop and I believe had it put inside. The parents to be don't even know the sex as the nurse was instructed to label the ultrasound and seal it in the envelope. I come from a very large family, have 3 children of my own, and a niece and nephew, and this is the first I've heard of anything like this. I do think its kinda cool. Boys run heavy in my family, and this is a child of my Brothers, so statistically it will most likely be a boy, but I have a feeling and I'm rolling pink. Haven't even told my girlfriend yet. She thinks I'm voting boy.
