Brandon Kirsch

I thought this was a joke at first, but Purdue's kirsch has declared for the NFL draft. Nothing about him impressed me this year and his numbers weren't any good.

tiller has a real mess on his hands at Purdue, the days of them winning 8 or 9 games a year are over, they're back to 3 and 4 win seasons IMO. They're recruiting class this year looks like crap.

Pollard is also leaving early, but he'll a day one pick.

I wonder what round Kirsch gets drafted, maybe someone will draft him in the 6th or 7th round because of the success of Brees has had and the decent job Orton did this season.

I'm not sure I care. I'm a Purdue Alumni. Brandon Kirsch just isn't that good. They need to pull in another QB like Brees. I think they are going back into the dark ages, unfortunately. Notre Dame comes first for me anyway (ie. from South Bend). I like to see both teams do well minus that one game where I root for the Irish over Purdue. Purdue needs recruits!

They really hit the wall after Wisconsin 2004 and haven't been able to recover.

I have to agree with your "dark ages" comment Slingsup. I think this will become an annual win for Weis as it was for Holtz. As long as Tiller is around, anyway. I think he deserves a chance to get a few more years, but it isn't looking good.

I still can't get the picture of Brock Spack's face against the ND offense out of my mind. If my defensive coordinator looked like he did, I would not have had much hope that day as a player.

That dude was LOST.

Two things:
1. Purdue sucks anyway
2. Who really cares?

Sort of like that deer in the headlights look. That dude was just plain old bumfuzzled. It looked like ND was playing against a high school defense. They're done. We'll beat them soundly from hear on out.

Also Purdue's starting punter transferred to Pitt. Purdue must really be in trouble if they're losing their starting punter. He's a pretty good punter also, the job was his until he graduated but he decided to transfer.

Yes, I think I saw they lost their 2nd best receiver who is 6'9". How good could Brady Quinn do with a 6'9" receiver? Wow. Pollard is leaving early as well. I think anyone important to Purdue is leaving...next year's score should be something like 35-3 at half...IRISH

Correct. Ingraham hasn't come back to PU this semester. Would be a nice compliment next year in CW's air force....

Ingraham sucks, he is way to slow to play WR on a decent team. This team has lost numerous players and its only a matter of time before Tiller gets the ax: Kirsch, Ray Edwards, Dave Brytus, Bernard Pollard, Ingraham. All five of those guys were starters last year and all 5 could have come back so take away them and their graduating senior class and that team is desimated.
