Went to visit my parents for Thanksgiving in Arizona. So my Dad and I decided last minute (Friday night) to make the 6 hour trip to LA. What an unbelievable experience!! Alot of Irish fans in the crowd. Our seat were in Section 6 Row 4!! Here are some pics! Enjoy!

Hey man thanks soooo much for sharing you luckey rascal for being there. If you see this post you gotta answer just this one question. What was the goal line stand like seeing it in person. Did it happen too fast to appreciate or was it as striking as seen on tv. My 83 year old MOM went nuts and for me runs up there with anything I've seen my Irish ever do. Thanks again Irish Brother for sharing a bunch of good shots.

Purchased our tickets on stubhub...had them emailed....booked the hotel for the night one hour away from the stadium ;)

Wish I knew...if you were going to be an hour away from the stadium you could have just crashed at my place. Would've only cost you a bottle of decent bourbon.

Happen too fast...I thought he caught it. I looked up and saw the USC students section going crazying...then I looked at the ND sideline and saw they were jumping up and down. Then I glanced up at the jumbotron to see if he really caught it and it was incomplete!!

Some of my pics. Shows what the view is like from row 86 up in the corner of the peristyle end. In the ND section, crowd was going nuts despite the awful view of the field. At least there is a good view of the LA skyline from that part of the stadium...

Only sports the Coliseum is good for - Supercross and, maybe, track and field.

When I was 10 or 11, my Dad took me to Supercross there and we sat in the same general area you were in. Seeing those bikes go flying off the peristyle jump really gets your heart pounding.

Also saw a couple Olympic events there in '84.
