Teo's had more great games this season than Manziel. His game against Alabama should be nullified by his performance against LSU. 2 TD's don't cancel out 3 interceptions. If you can't consistently lead your team to victory against your toughest competition as a quarterback when you have a functional defense, you don't deserve the Heisman. All the Teo promotion in the world won't make people forget the Cam Newton and Tim Tebow comparisons. Cam Newton had the ability to put the team on his back and win the close ones. Tim Tebow threw fewer interceptions, but in his Heisman season had 54 total touchdowns compared to Manziel's (thus far) 38. If he can match that kind of production to finish out the season, then give it to him. He's a great player and I'm not bashing his status as "great," just his purported status as "greatest." The Alabama game was great. What else does he have? What else can he hang his hat on? McCarron threw his only two interceptions of the season during that game. Is it possible that the Alabama game was something of an anomaly? This is an important question, and Manziel does not have an answer.
