If they keep rushing 7 or 8 guys every play, we'll throw it every play

That line that coach gave Lewis Johnson at the half was awesome, it made almost spit soda through my nose. Probably the best line i have heard

When he said that, my dad looked over to me and said, "Charlie is the nuts, man. This guy just don't care."

JIGGA'S NUGGETTS, BYU:

1. Defense effort in first and third was putrid. Second and fourth, must have been different guys. The simple fact of the matter is this: Weis cannot win without a defense that dominates. They are undersized on the front four and the secondary appears to be out of position more often than not. I admire their heart and resourcefulness, but they need more talent.

2. 9 records broken today. Stovall will be a first round draft choice when all is said and done. Shark is an All American. Brady Quinn will be the best QB in ND history when he walks the aisle at graduation.

3. Foolish penalties are a problem. Ryan Harris had three that stalled drives. Too many stupid mistakes. I'm shocked this kind of sloppy play is still happening. Where is the discipline?

4. Tommy Z, a fine Chicago kid. Buffalo Grove, but close enough. If he plays deeper off the front seven, he makes plays. Why are the safeties so damn close to the line?

5. Anthony Fasano needs to wrap up the ball and stop trying to strongarm defenders. I look at him and see NFL dollars, but maybe another year is needed. What a weapon, though. John Carlson needs more opportunities and he'll be great as well.

6. A HOME WIN!!! I think this gains closure with SC.

I really wanted him to break the record today of my least favorite ND QB, and it isn't so much about his performance at ND, it is the way he is now, and that would be Joe Theismann. I can't even watch an ESPN Sunday night game because of that guy. Maybe that is unfair, but I know that I like Quinn so much more.

I know what you mean. I try telling myself the Joe Theismann that played at ND and the Joe Theismann that calls the games for ESPN Sunday Night Football are two different people...
