Double D talks ND/USC game
Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park four star ranked dual-threat quarterback prospect Demetrius Jones (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) was one of several top prospects in the crowd at Saturday's showdown in South Bend between USC and Notre Dame. Jones talks about his Notre Dame game day experience and much more in this latest recruiting update.
Demetrius Jones got a serious feel for the USC/ND rivalry on Saturday.
"We played on Thursday last week so I was able to get out to South Bend for the USC/Notre Dame game on Saturday," Jones said. "I headed to Notre Dame with Ray Ray (Ramone Johnson), Chris (James) and a few of our coaches. It was an exciting game and an exciting day to say the least."
Jones talked about his game day experience on Saturday at Notre Dame.
"It was exciting. Notre Dame played pretty well on offense, but Reggie Bush from USC is awesome. He literally changed the pace of the game by himself. He's just an amazing player and it's wild to see someone to be just able to do things as smoothly as he does on the field. He has to be going to the show (NFL) after this year. It was just a great game and both teams matched up really well. I think Notre Dame proved that it can play with anyone in the country, and despite the loss they are going to just get better from here on out."
"The atmosphere at Notre Dame on Saturday was just crazy. The stadium was packed with real fans, die hard Notre Dame fans. I had some fans walk up and just start telling me my life's story, and that's always crazy for me. Notre Dame always gets amazing fan support and you always get treated very, very well by everyone at Notre Dame. I had a chance to see several of the alumni like Joe Montana, my cousin Chris Zorich and Tim Brown at the game. The game on Saturday just gave me a feel for what it would be like for me next year, and that was just an amazing feeling. I also saw and talked to a ton of prospects at the game. I saw a ton of those Rivals100 recruits at the game, so I had a chance to say hello to everyone."
