This was way different than last year at the USC game. While the atmosphere at the USC game was electric at times it didn't compare to the Michigan game. As others said there was no one there that wasn't cheering and cheering loud. Everyone also stood the whole time. Awesome game atmosphere.
Didnt sit for one play the whole game. I did have 2 blue hairs directly behind me who were grumbling a bit...but they kept it between themselves, never said anything to me. Seems like they had heard the message and knew they weren't gonna win that battle. I swear at one point I heard one say "time to move into the boxes" so maybe they know something?!
A few of us in my area had the conversation of how nice a video screen would be...
For replays and also for those god awful tv timeouts, man so much different sitting thru in the stadium opposed to running to my fridge for more beer or food.
Awesome atmosphere tho, glad I went. Anyone see the student section leave the building, it was a loud, raucous exit...they were just as pumped as the players! Simply awesome
Everyone stood in the stadium, for the most part, the entire game. Although I have heard reports of people still grumbling about standing, it didn't seem as if the ushers told anyone to sit down. A drastic departure from two weeks ago at Purdue.
My section didn't stand the whole game, but everyone got up when needed, got loud and no one complained. Even the "older" ones around me were getting up, yelling, and being enthusiastic throughout the game. A lot of excitement around this team and everyone, young and old, are all absorbing it.
