Lee Corso - Prediction on the Irish

On College Gameday Pre-Season Kickoff show last night, the "esteemed" Lee Corso predicted the Irish to start off 0-6. That is Zero and Six. Which means he is expecting them to lose the Ty Bowl.

Not so Fast My Friend. This program and team is in a much better state than the last 2 years having an experienced QB running the team when they finished .500%. They all said the Defense won't be able to stop anyone. Well that is no different than the last 2 years.

I really think Mintner will do a great job improving this team on D and specifically Bill Lewis in the secondary. And comparing C-Dub, Haywood, Vaas, to Ty and Bill Dietrich running the offense.

Irish will win 8+ games this year. (Pitt, Mich St, Wash, BYU, Navy, Syracuse)C-Dub will steal at least 2. (look for these wins again Purdue and Tenn). Note: TY was able to outcoach 'Phil of Himself" Fulmer. Need I say more.

Just saw it today on College Game Day...You think there might be a reason why Corso has long been away from the sidelines and in the booth where one isn't accountable to anyone??

no doubt...i think corso may have lost what is left of his mind. no way irish go 0-6. granted our fix six games are much harder than the last 5, but there is no way we lose to michigan state or washington. we also have a very good chance at beating pittsburgh and possibly pulling off an upset win at purdue or michigan. pittsburgh will be a great opening game considering they stole one from us last year after we let palko torch us. i think the irish win at least 7 games in Charlie's first year at the helm. Wins against against Pitt, Mich St, Wash, BYU, Navy, Syracuse, and Stanford seam like sure bets.

idiotic..He's just trying to piss off the Irish faithful. We almost won like 8 or 9 games last year, if a few things fell are way.

The whole offense is back for crying out loud, every single one of those staters on offense were highly touted out of high school, and with the proper coaching staff in place your finally going to see their true potential.

Im sick and tired of hearing these analysts predicting us to win 4 or 5 games. Only way we only win 4 or 5 games is if God forbid Brady gets injured for a long period of time.

They all seem to think Washington will beat us. I don't know why, we wiped the floor with them last year. Washington has talent no doubt about it, but its a team thats in disarray right now. Does anyone know who the starting QB will be for them? One things for sure everyone will root hard for us to lose that game.

This is good news guys. Lee Corso has made me a ton of money in the past. My formula has been to watch gameday, see who Lee picks and then bet against them. Lee I will be watching ND on my 56" TV this year because of you. I love how these below average coaches land jobs on that below average sports network ESPN.

you could hear the moans of disagreement from the other analysts (which is surprising) when Corso was making his predictions. Corso is indeed an ass, I mean he failed miserably as a college football coach so I really dont take his predictions to heart.

I hate Corso he is an idiot. What does he know, if he knew what he was talking about he would still be coaching. But now he is on a dumb t.v. show that sucks. Everyone on the show is dumb,but rocket. I hate everyone at espn. I am now a fox sports fan. The Best Damn Sports Show,Period is my new favorite show.

I no longer watch ESPN programming of any kind, ever, period.

I also let my girlfriend's dog micterate on ESPN the magazine, which actually makes it worth more.

I'm surprised Corso didn't start talking about the Yankees and Red Sox, being that ESPN is all over their nuts 24-7.
