still amazes me he decided to come to ND at all. Hate to say it, but were I in his shoes, it woudl be really difficult to turn down a chance to go to Illinois and pretty much be the unquestionned starter within a year at least. Chaulk it up to Weis' recruiting I guess.
Isiah Williams from Chicago Vocational committed to Illinois first. He would have had competition there too. Plus, they are friends and decided they did not want to go to school together.
The talk about Jones the past couple of days thus far makes me laugh. Demetrius Jones is getting zero respect. I guess we're all to assume that Zach Frazer will "Beano Cook" his way to three Heismans and two national titles. It makes sense, though...Frazer is the Pennsylvania QB and Jones is the inner city kid that would make a great receiver or defensive back.
I can assure you of one thing: Jones is a QB. He will not play receiver this year, he will not play defensive back. Morgan Park will go deep into the playoffs and Jones will be THE first team All State quarterback in the state of Illinois.
This quarterback situation needs to have some perspective shed on it. ND has two very good verbals and it will be a competition when the time comes. I do not expect Frazer to run away with the job when Quinn is graduated.
