Well, I am not saying that the freshmen do not deserve the praise, I am simply saying dont write off the older WRs just because you arent hearing about them. That is how I took your original comment, if that is not what you meant, then that is my fault.

Believe me, I hope the older WRs step up big time. I hope the younger ones bring some excitement and competition to practice, which makes them all better. I want DD to be the stud we all hoped he'd be. TJ is solid, and I think he can turn up his game too. Smith, potential, but hearing he's just not catching on. Not sure if this is true, but tracks with things thus far. Goodman, IDK either. I think he will be solid, but just athletically he's probably the least impressive. I'm hoping he can prove me wrong, and turn into a "Shark" like WR.

I'm just happy to hear so many good things so early about these young men. Gives me comfort in our future at WR, and makes the depth chart pretty darn interesting this year. Bottom line, happy to have the added depth, competition, and mostly.... SPEED!

Went a long way in shoring up a position that really needed more talent.

Yep, big time. WR was my #3 concern behind #1 QB and #2 CB. Now I'm sitting comfortably numb at the WR position.

Seeing how advanced our three receivers this year makes it clear to me that they like Corey Robinson, W Fuller, and James O in 2013. They judge the position well.

Very high on Robinson and Fuller. Don't know much about JO, but I do trust BK. They say Fuller was the best WR at the last combine. Robinson, well he's a Robinson. I'd love to turn into WR U too.

I am kind of the opposite, I am high on JO and Robinson, but not really on Fuller (personally, I would like to see him go to corner...). Though, Fuller could easily change my opinion if I start to hear some more good things about him.

I just don't know enough about JO. Haven't read a bunch, or seen a lot of vid. I can say, Fuller is a stud based on some of the camps, etc.. I'm fine with him going over to CB if we need to put him there. Still hoping we land LJ and/or Alexander to fill that void. If I can find the article on Fuller I'll PM it to ya.

From NBC

0:42 — Freshman wideout Justin Ferguson (15) beats walk-on safety Connor Cavalaris (40) on the slant route before fellow rookie Chris Brown (2) gets vertical on cornerback Josh Atkinson (43), adjusting to the deep ball and making a big catch.

2:08 — Either that’s a repeat of earlier, or Chris Brown beat Josh Atkinson on another deep ball. (On a repeat viewing, it’s not a re-run. That’s just another impressive rep by the true freshman.)

Based on the above, and everything else we're hearing, Brown is going to get meaningful minutes from game 1. I'd bet starting by game 5. Blowing by Josh A....... That alone says alot.

Of all the practice videos I've watched this year, the WR position is one I have been most impressed with. All 3 freshman WR have a chance at PT this year. #19 was special on defense last year and I think #19 will be special on offense this year. Neal and GAIII back for kickoff returns= most dangerous return team in the country. The guys that have been there have been great mentors to the freshman. I think DD, Jones, and Toma step up this year.

I honestly think both Brown and Neal will have huge impacts. Brown truly gives us a deep threat, and Neal gives us slash both in the return game and at WR. Thinking about these guys with Golson in Gunner for the next 4 years is nothing short of awesome. Ferg will get there too, but I think there's more competition in terms of like skill sets. My money is he turns out to be a physical possession WR next year, and is well rounded by year 3.
