Future of the Big East

the big east basketball conference will be sick next year. The BC b ball team is a fluke, coach skinner will be scooped up by a bigger program soon, and BC will struggle again.

In football the big east will stink next year. Pitt is a solid team, tyler palko looks like a real good QB, louisville should be good. Uconn is up and coming. Rutgers still stinks. Losing BC really hurt.

yeah, big east football is going to the crapper next year. it's pretty sad that louisville will be the hands-down obvious favorite to win the conference. plus, once petrino leaves (or gets run out of town) the cardinals will slide back into mediocrity, and the likes of pitt and west virginia will "dominate."

basketball, however, will be amazing. the big east should be better, top to bottom, than the ACC. we'll have louisville, cincinnati, uconn and syracuse as legitimate title contenders every season, plus pitt, georgetown, ND, and villanova as top 25 caliber teams every year. that's pretty solid.

UConn is very impressive in terms of what they've done with that program. It is on the up and up. WVU, PItt and Louisville should rule that Big East football league for years to come.
