Love thee Notre Dame
Love thee Notre Dame
1. Stories from my father and uncles about selling programs and watching games during the Rockne years.
2. Seeing my first game in 1944 against GaTech.
3. Listening to Joe Boland on WSBT doing the games on radio.
4. Graduating in 1960. ( The greatest graduation ceremony at any school, ever. Speaker was President Eisenhower. Our mass was said by Cardinal Montini, late Pope Paul VI).
5. Grandfather bought a 1 1/5 lot that holds 6 burial plots in Cedar Grove Cemetary for $35 in 1917. One plot is mine, so ND and I will be close for a long time.
