Well not that this thread has anything to do with ND, But the problem over there is that they have conventional army units attempting to do unconventional missions. you can not combat unconventional warfare with conventional forces thats not how it works.
In the army for those of you who do not know. The higher up have always been to restrictive on special opertion units. I think its due to the fact that alot of the generals high up are do in fact have conventional backgrounds and are skeptical of the SO units and swear up and down that they can do whatever the Rangers or Sp[ecial Forces can do.
This is the reason things in Iraq are not going correctly. :violent:

If they gave me my long gun back and a ticket to iraq I would take out alot of the iraqis myself. Forget all these tanks and conventional infantry and roadblock crap. We have to start dealing death.

Agreed. As a former Marine, this is one of the reasons i got out of the military. Way too much politics and not enough leeway for the armed forces to fight a war the way they need too. The media doesnt help things either with all the negative things they say.

exactly alot of people are starting to see it. the politics in the Army is rediculous. Im glad my last day of active duty was on monday the 17.

Im a PFC again!!!! :bigsmile:
