That list doesn't include Walker.

I feel very good about our chances for this year's recruiting class. Last year had Walker, Hoskins, Vernaglia, and Lambert. Few others were really outstanding, and most of that list was born of a last-minute scramble to fill a recruiting class after blowing it on four or five other big recruits.

No, it isn't. Everybody on that list was a Freshman this year.

none yet i think...we seem pretty strong there though

Strong for another year. Right now, no committments is not a good thing. Whoever they get in this class will be starting in '06, I can assure you. They're lacking O-Line as far as depth is concerned.

anyone know if Tuck is leaving or staying? personally, i hope he leaves, he never was the same after his injury, his stock dropped this year with only 6 sacks..i know he was doubled teamed, o-lines compiled there game plans around him...blah, blah, blah..i just think he knows his time for the NFL is now and it would be better to get new blood at the DE position

Heck no. The Irish can certainly use the talent and experience that Tuck can offer next year. Tuck is one helluva player - I'd like to see what Rick Minter could do with him next year.

I agree. I think they need all the experienced seniors coming back that they can get to give Weis more time to find their replacements.

he WAS a great player...i agree, and i think he is still a good player but i also think that we can get a more productive player at that position, someone who can brink more than 6 sacks to the table...nothing against Tuck, i hope he goes high in the draft, and brings ND some much needed crediblity from the NFL...i love to see players reach the max potential in college than go the NFL, and i think tuck has reached his peak

I think so...but our defense would really s*** if we lost tuck

with or without Tuck, our defense is still going to go through some growing pains next year with 8 of our starters leaving...it is all apart of the process

I think you need Tuck back.At least to help the younger players. He is a great pass rusher that may not have been challenged in the right way.I think the new coach gives these guys alot to look foward to.They may get a new passion from their coach.Or maybe a nastyness.Tuck needs to stay.Without him are problems just get worse. :mob:

Looks like we have a pretty good shot at Paul Duncun according to bgi...the good thing about recruiting, is that it is always a "slippery slope" once some of the 5 and 4 stars commit, it will get the attention of the other 4 and 5 stars...kids want to be apart of great and good recruiting classes...and it looks like weis is doing a lot better than I gave him credit for...go get em coach!
