The only thing better than waking up on the sunday after ND beats Michigan and reading all of the articles of sad Michigan fans is doing the same thing monday morning as the CFB world starts shittalking Harbaugh for being the overrated coach that he is.

I think ND could hit the 60 point mark this week, but it's just not BK's m.o. to do so. He tends to let off the gas after we get a comfortable cushion, and I think we will see Jurkovec in the 4th quarter after Book takes over for a couple of drives to shake any rust as our #2.

I'll Take ND 52, Ball St. 17, we barely cover (if the line holds).

Hot take: C'Bo Flemister breaks a 50+ yard run in the second half

It's especially great when you already have national respect and a top 15 rating or better. Play teams we will beat, and watch teams around us go down as we climb up the rankings.

ND wins, doesn't cover the spread though.
ND has a small hangover from the scUM game and doesn't really pull away until midway through the 2nd.

ND wins, but doesn't cover. I see 45-17 or so. Probably 35ish-10 mid third.

ND should roll even with the backups in most of the 2nd half. 28-10, lol. I have zero confidence in ND running up th score.

ND covers. Last year under Long we ran up the score a lot against better teams. The only reason I can think that we don't is that either (1) We want to take it easy on the local school; (2) Book isn't as good as we hope after an unnecessarily violent hit late the 2nd against Wimbush scares the ND coaches into pulling him for the day.

Easy win...won't cover.

Can't show too much for down the road.

Feel good? My food tastes fresher, the air seems cleaner, my drinks are smoother and all while my disdain for meatchicken remains at an all time high. Yes, this week is good.

I am going with 48-17. They score some late points. Jones JR has a big game.

I picked the 34-39 range. Sort of torn on this one. I think a lot of the D will rest, so BSU might have some scoring. On the other hand, I think we'll be up by 3 or more schools at half, and we'll see a lot of Book, or Book + PJ.... Normally that would cause me to think low scoring second half, but I think BK might let both toss it around... and if so, I think we'll hit 50 easily, or maybe even 60+

ND should roll, hopefully some PT for backups. Take care of biz, no injuries please. Don't care about spread. win by 3 TD.

If I have a gripe concerning BK coached teams, it's this:

Later in games, it seems if ND is up 21, 28, 30+ plus points - he takes the foot off the pedal (seemingly BOTH sides of the ball). 35-10 games, turn into 35-24 wins. 42-13 games, turn into 42-27 games. 49-17 games turn into 49-38 wins. 21-3 games, turn into 24-17 wins...

When ND has their opponents on the floor with our foot on their throat, ND needs to stomp them out and finish them off.

I don't believe ND is in any position to call off the dogs, ever. You get nothing for 2nd place and 'nice guys' get fired and are left with nothing.

I'd like to see a massacre on saturday, and not one apology given afterwards.

I don't think we put the foot on the throat as much as some others.
45-24. They've got a decent offense and they'll score a couple touchdowns in garbage time when we've already moved our focus on to next week.

I don't see us beating the -33.5 spread. We've not been very good against such large spreads over the last few years.

I am hoping this is part of the "November Strategy" where we get up by enough and start to really rest our guys. Most of the defense comes out, we run a lot of Avery Davis, Book gets plenty of time and we see a lot of younger receivers play.

I do think the line stays in to build some chemistry.

Rest easy friends, we go into half up 35 making all of this okay.

I didn't bet any real money on the Michigan game. I think I will be putting some money down on ND not to cover the spread this week... classic let down game (how could it not be?) where we will also be using it as a "tune up" to work on some things.

I think ND prevails comfortably, 41-17, while not looking like a total world beater.

Would love to see Rhuland Lugg and Banks get plenty of snaps, in California the second half.

52-14. Typical Irish squads would walk thru this game and it would be totally understandable. But I want them to stomp on them early and often to prove to me that last week was more about ND being that good rather than UM being that bad. My bet is on the former and hope they show it this weekend.
