We'll see. I thought Stanford was semi legit until I saw USC get smoked by an average Texas team.

I like this matchup from what I've seen from either team. I think our D is good enough to shut their offense down for the most part and they need to put up points. I think this is the week our offense explodes.

If not Stanford, then Virginia Tech. It's just a matter of time. I haven't seen anything from this team that tells me they can go into Blacksburg and win.

I think we cover this week and win by 2+ scores. Their offense is legit, but they gave up 400+ yards to Tulane, 400+ yards to Towson, and 500+ yards to Boston College.

I think Notre Dame goes over 40 points and holds them below 30... I'll pick 41 to 24 as the final.

I agree, as of now. Until this staff and team can show us that they can play on the road in prime time, theres no reason to have a lot of confidence going into the VT game. I'm hoping this Saturday will be a big step forward for the offense. The defense can obviously can keep us in games.

But VT is in a similar situation as Stanford IMO. We still don't know how good they are yet. The FSU win looked good for like 6 days, now its average at best.

I don't see how we score points on either team. Stanford's DBs are reallllllly good. Their front 7 is physical. Virginia Tech hasn't played anyone, but at Blacksburg with them being undefeated is asking to get Miami'd.

Watched that QB1 show and their QB was arguably the least impressive QB on the show. True Freshman, undersized, not a huge arm. Think we should roll wake.

Stanford is certainy a tough test but I think people are overreacting a bit. We play them relatively well in South Bend (more like we play them well when it's not the last game of the season in Palo Alto) and they havent looked that impressive at all. Still think we're holding a lot of our playbook back so that we're difficult to scout (Stanford and Va Tech). Wont be the case during those games.

Va Tech is tricky due to the environment but we're definitely a more talented team. We didn't show up to Miami last year, but think about how we showed up in 2014 to Doke or 2016 to Death Valley? Kind of naiive to say we don't perform well in tough environments. I think it's a game we should win. 6-0 after these next three games is more likely to me than 3-3, 4-2, or 5-1

Stanford will also be coming off of a game @Oregon. 2 straight weeks of travel. That gives us at least a half day of extra rest/prep.

Maybe but I think the Va Tech game is more of a challenge than Stanford. On the road in a hostile environment with an offense that is still finding it's way. The Sandman is going to be a much tougher out than Stanford IMO.
