Same here, bro.
Same here, bro.
Thanks guy! LolNot to be that guy, but 2014
USC is way better than 6-6.
Their passing game was quite good. That QB will be a problem next year. And they stuffed our running game a lot of the time, except when they didn't. But also, yeah, they don't win the tough games and at some point that's on the coaches.10-2 talent with a 4-8 coach
Idk if that’s a good argument. This is a really talented USC team. All the metrics outside of their record show it. They just struggle to finish…as evidenced tonight.I'm sorry, but no. You can't lose 6 games and get credit for being better than 6-6. If Thomas doesn't fumble and Jeter's head wasn't up his ass, this was over at half time.
OSU has beaten PSU and IU. IU and PSU have beaten nobody any good. I think PSU's best win was...Illinois?Btw Ohio State has beaten Penn State and who else? And Penn State has beaten who?
I wouldn’t say the passing game was “good”. It was mostly chuck the ball up to the big wide receiver in 1 on 1 on the outside and see if they can come down with it. No real timing or rhythm and it eventually bit them in the ass.Their passing game was quite good. That QB will be a problem next year. Penn State and IU scare me zero but I wouldn't want to play Ohio State in the first round if we can avoid it. (And yes 10-2 Ohio State will make the playoff at-large as a 9-12 seed. Because every one of us and the committee would pick them to beat most of the other options.)OSU has beaten PSU and IU. IU and PSU have beaten nobody any good. I think PSU's best win was...Illinois?
tOSU beat themselves... in many waysBtw Ohio State has beaten Penn State and who else? And Penn State has beaten who?
I guess but the thing with passing is that unless/until you fuck up, you only have to hit on one out of three or four plays. There were several plays were we could not have gotten in on the QB any faster, or covered any better, and they still completed the pass for 20 or so yards.I wouldn’t say the passing game was “good”. Exactly why only 2 or 3 teams in the big 10 have traveled more than 2 time zones and wonDon’t underestimate how difficult it is to go from South Bend to NYC to South Bend to LA in a week. Everyone responds to that level of travel differently no matter how many precautions the staff can take.
Lincoln Riley is on par with Ryan "Michigan's bitch" Day and Matt "unemployed" EberflusFWIW, the SP+ and FPI have USC as a top 25 team. Essentially are a 9-3 caliber team that can’t close / doesn’t always show up.
Yeah, we need Cross back in full fitness. I assume he did not play.Busy watching other games, but I will add a part of me is happy we struggled, it will remind them to never take a play off. It exposes some defensive issues we can spend the next 3 weeks working on.
Watts running that last pick back and talking shit to SCs sideline all the way was beautiful!
I don't think we will kick another field goal. I'm just concerned we'll try to.1. Watching all of the upsets today, it's crazy how this team rebounded from the NIU loss to win ten straight. Most of them in very convincing fashion.
2. Today was the first day where you could feel the absence of BenMo.
3. Love was having maybe the best game I have ever seen from an ND RB in terms of "WOW" plays before he got hurt. Prayers up it's nothing serious because he's a game changer.
4. Credit Christian Gray who got left on an island all game and thrown at repeatedly for battling back and making a game clinching play with an insane one-handed interception and 90+ yard return.
5. We still don't have a real passing game and that's eventually going to cost us in the playoffs. We can't always be ahead of the sticks. The difference between how USC is able to attack vertically in their passing game and what we do is just alarming.
6. I never want to see us kick a field goal ever again.
