This game was really good for us.

Going against a good passing attack and seeing where we need to get better was very valuable.

Having the offense carry us was huge. Great game by the O. Riley has improved a ton! A lot of credit to him and to Denbrock.

Great job by the unsung heroes. Joe Rudolph, Anthonie Knapp, Billy Schrauth, Pat Coogan, Rocco Spindler, and Amil Wagner. Let alone the blocking by Mitchell Evans, Eli Rairdon, and Cooper Flanigan!

I didn't think they'd be able to sustain their effort but they searched deep and found hate was a powerful motivator.

On a day our defense had its worst game we still never trailed and came up big when it counted.

Exactly. The whole team got tested today and found a way to win. Good to have this test before the playoffs start. Now the coaches and players know they have it in them to weather the adversity and emerge successfully out the other side. This will help come playoff time.
