I know its early but here is what I think the final Top 25 Final Rankings might look like. Thoughts?
1. Clemson/Bama
2. Clemson/Bama - Unless its a massive blowout, they will finish 1-2 respectively.
3. Stanford (12-2) - Should have been in the playoffs
4. Oklahoma (11-2) - Lost, and if Clemson beats Alabama or even plays very close they stay. If Clemson gets blown out I could see them drop to 5. I just hate OSU too much to cencede them being in the top 4.
5. OSU (12-1) - #$%$$%
6. Michigan St. (12-2) - Doesn't seem fair since they beat OSU but pollsters love them some OSU and I think OSU is a better team and wins at least 7 out of 10 times v MSU.
7. Iowa (12-2) - Only 2 losses to MSU and Stanford. Got smashed by Stanford but who else do you put here with the number 8, 9, 10, and potentially 11 team losing their bowl games?
8. Ole Miss (10-3) - Moving up because a lot of teams moving down, I dont think they deserve to be here but they will be.
9. Notre Dame (10-3) - Played bad in Fiesta but I am a little bias so I put them here right in front of Oregon (if they beat TCU) who probably has a better resume (if they beat TCU). Could flip flop ND and Oregon (If they beat TCU).
10. Oregon (10-3) - (If they beat TCU). Would move higher if they beat TCU with Boykin.
11. (10-3) - No reason they should jump into the top 10.
12. TCU (10-3) - Hard to put TCU below Baylor after TCU beat Baylor earlier.
13. Baylor (10-3)
14. Houston (13-1)
15. North Carolina (11-3)
16. Florida State (10-3) - Its hard not putting them lower.
17. Tennessee (9-4)- 4 losses by an average of 4 points, 2 of those losses @ Bama (by 5) and Oklahoma (by 7).
18. LSU (9-3)
19. Navy (10-2) - Could and should be ranked higher than LSU but I believe the SEC gets the nod every time.
20. Utah (10-3)
21. Ok State (10-3) - Most over rated team in the country all season.
22. Northwestern (10-3) - Second most over rated team in the country all season.
23. Wisconsin (10-3) - How did this team win 10 games?
24. Western Kentucky (12-2)
25. Georgia (10-3 after they beat PSU)
Thoughts? Opinions? Corrections? Rankings are hard to predict.
