Darius Walker played in the NFL last season. I don't know if he did this past season.

Carlysle Holiday played last year too. He actually caught one of Brett Favre's milestone passes.

Didn't Jarious Jackson play in the CFL? I'm pretty sure he did and i'm not sure if he still does.

Glad to see we are playing a bowl game in Japan. I think it will greatly expand our recruiting possibilities over there. Oh wait.....

Great, just more fuel for the haters to throw on the Irish. Oh wait, nobody know about Notre Dame football or it's history. We need to spread the word quickly... ummm lets start in Japan, college football is well-known there!!??

I think this is really random...I had no idea Japan even played football!!! I'd pay to see this!

Notre Dame football is popular enough in Japan to have a 150+ episode anime, 'Eyeshield 21' which has many references to Notre Dame.

I don't think there is a rule that players are notallowed to have played in the pros because I've heard of a number of players who did play in the NFL who plan on going to Japan.

Darius Walker is actually back here at ND finishing his degree right now. Jarious Jackson I believe even started a game or 2 for the Broncos, and then he played in the CFL. Shane Walton was with the Rams but he got hurt. I'm not sure he was ever on the active roster. Tony Fisher played in the pros for a number of years, most of them with the Packers. He was a pretty 3rd down back.

Some other guys I heard might be playing are Javin Hunter (who played in the NFL with the Ravens) and Ivory Covington.

I'm guessing that, with the declining popularity of ND here in the States, the University is trying to open up new markets for it's merchandise?

Great tackle....

Unfortunately a microcosm of our program since '94. Scrappy with just enough to get by team we should dominate.

That ends now.

Amazing that you would post that. When I think of greatest individual plays, that is one of the first that comes to mind. 5'9" 161lbs punished 6'3" 240lbs...
I even received phone calls asking if I had seen the play within seconds after it was over.

Another great one is the Brooks TD against Michigan where he gets knocked out as he scores. Someone posted a video of it on here recently.
