Just in case any of our Floridians are awake with me tonight, just pulled this off of the National Weather Service website. It's the current Short Term Forecast for Orlando, FL...
SHORT TERM FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL
1126 PM EST TUE NOV 21 2006
.NOW...
THROUGH 1 AM...LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH A FEW SNOW
FLAKES AT TIMES...WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS VOLUSIA...LAKE...ORANGE...
SEMINOLE AND NORTHERN BREVARD COUNTIES. ANY SNOW SIGHTED SHOULD NOT
REMAIN INTACT UPON CONTACT WITH SURFACES AS TEMPERATURES ARE
CURRENTLY IN THE 40S.
It's not sticking, but hey, snow of any kind in this part of Florida is a rarity in-and-of-itself. I hope it makes it down to Cocoa Beach before sunrise!
