ya know what...this CRAP makes me sick to my stomach. some of you guys (with all the respect as a person i can muster) are acting like a bunch of 5 year old girls crying for momma. if somebody punches you in the DARN mouth are you gonna run and tell or you gonna get back up and beat the living POO out of them. hopefully our CRUDDY coach (in most's eyes) can get the team up instead of crying like you guys. essentially, the blame is being shifted from non performance on the field to coaching. seriously, players should get some DARN blame. flame on, i dont give a CRAP because im not with or against weis at this point...im on the fence.

we lost to navy...yes, i understand the reality of the situation. should never happen but guess what...tough DOO DOO, DOO DOO happens, records are broken, blah blah blah. IF, IF IF IF IF IF Weis has this team ready for PITT and wins...how many of you are going to say 'good job charlie' 'nice win' (without the condescending BULLCRAP). I realize i'm only 25 years old and dont know what a 'championship' team feels like....but ya know what, i like this team's heart, i think they're going to come out angry as hell (maybe thats just the linebacker in me), but support them FULLY.

Lets do one thing PLEASE.....SHUT THE HELL? UP CALLING FOR HIS HEAD UNTIL THE SEASON IS DONE, i'm willing to bet not one of you can do it nor have any input in the situation so if they do it..fine, if not...support the team, you sound like a bunch of bandwagon fans. if i wanted to hear a bunch of whiney bitches i'd go to a pregnancy clinic.

for real this week is gonna drag! and on top of that we have to wait all day saturday til kickoff, but it will be worth the wait.

as far as the haters go, F%^K em they wont ever be fully in charlies corner so dont waste your energy on them, i've all but given up.

i am just ready for the pitt game, a good end to the season and a good bowl.

Agree with those who've said our players need to get alot of this. As far as having fight in them...I guess they do, if by fight, you mean "hope Jimmy and Golden do something to bail us out"...Sorry, but given the athletic and sheer size advantage we had over Navy, yet we couldn't run, and we couldn't find a way to win...thats just lack of wanting it...IMHO...

Sorry but this is ALL coaching and you said it exactly. When you have a team full of elite, sought after recruits. The kids that USC, Bama, and Florida also were in the running for, and you lose to a service academy that doesnt recruit anybody, you are talking full on coaching.

I enjoy the diversity of opinions, even though I may not agree, when that is the case I like the debate. Truthfully, we all want the same thing. A Team that is talented enough and prepared enough to win every week. Not that they will win every week, but even in games we lose, we go down "Fighting" with class and character.

1. Until the end of the season, posters should ease up on
firing and hiring.

Why? We will have no effect on the outcome. Any changes
will happen after the season. The dumbest posts are those
demanding change now. To what purpose? Leaving a team
with coordinators in charge, remember the last time that
happened? Who, in their right mind, would want to take
the coaching job at such a point?

What did happen the last time potential recruits started
to suspect that their recruiters may soon be gone? We
have short memories.

2. Get off the high horse.

"It is only a service academy or they do not really
recruit football." Wanna bet. I know a West Point
grad who played ball who will tell you just how in-
tense academy football recruiting can be.

Do you think ND is capable of beating Ohio St? No, well
look at the Ohio St - Navy game and see how many points
Navy laid on the buckeyes. Navy is a middle of the road
team that played exceptionally well at South Bend.

Let the season play out, ND will probably lose one more
game for a 8-4 record and still go bowling. Until then,
the less said about hiring and firing, the better this

we lose to navy twice.....haven't beaten usc in a coon's age.......and weis is 3-16 against ranked opponents........it is more than losing to navy on saturday......it is his whole career.

Again leahy, just my viewpoint, CW started from scratch. He did win games his first two years. I think his offense is shallow and his special teams are a farce, but he did win his first two years. Then he started rebuiliding. I have said already today that I'm not sure he is the man to take ND to the top, but I think the overall structure has improved.
