It's always great to see former assistant coaches move up the ranks and grab head coaching positions at strong programs. Makes ND look like they knew what they were doing hiring these guys originally. Congrats Haywood on the head coaching position at Pitt.

WOW, that didn't take long...

I think the guy is a solid coach.

the obvious question is recruiting...Stache made some waves...for sure...now we'll see how a realtively unknown coach deals with the Icon in Happy Valley...

As well, ND always gets our piece of PA...skunkbear always gets a fatty or two...Ohio State gets a little...Maryland, Rutgers, they get some...all these places have known entities at the helm...then you have wildcards in Syracuse, West Virginia...He has a very tough road in his back yard...and he doesn't have a household name to overcome some of the competition...GOOD LUCK!
