In order to be fair and consistant throughout Golden Shamrock, the following odds MUST be used on all events posted in Golden Shamrock. Any event posted in Golden Shamrock not following the following odds, will be abandoned and the stakes returned to all bettors. Favorites and underdogs should be posted wherever possible... Visit Covers.com if are looking for a place to get up to date favorites and underdogs. If the odds of an event you are looking for you MUST list the site where you found them. You absolutely can not make up your own odds. A few other side notes would be to please bump the over up by half a poin if it's set at an even number because we don't have the ability to push the over/under and still declare a winner in the actual game. The other small not is to please unclick the checkmark from the box that causes the closing time and the payout time to occur at the same time and then please set the payout time for 3 to 3 1/2 hours after the start time. Thanks.

Over/Unders = odds at 1/1 for both options

Even = odds at 1/1 for both teams
1-4 points = odds at 3/4 for favorite, 1/1 for underdog
5-9 points = odds at 2/3 for favorite, 5/4 for underdog
10-14 points = odds at 1/2 for favorite, 3/2 for underdog
15-19 points = odds at 1/4 for favorite, 7/2 for underdog
20-25 points = odds at 1/7 for favorite, 15/2 for underdog
26+ points = odds at 1/10 for favorite, 12/1 for underdog

Thread titles should look like these examples:

[NBA] Suns at Lakers

[MLB] Yankees at Red Sox

[NHL] Blackhawks at Red Wings

[NFL] Cowboys at Redskins

[CFB] USC at Notre Dame

[CBB] N.Carolina at Duke

[Boxing] Fighter A vs. Fighter B

[Horse Racing] Kentucky Derby

etc.

Then on special events that take place at a neutral site they should look like this:

[Super Bowl XLII] Patriots vs. Giants

[Fiesta Bowl] Oklahoma vs. W.Virginia

[Final Four] UCLA vs. Kansas

etc.

Thanks

FYI, the odds for sports book events have been changed and a new level has been included. All new sports book events must use these odds.

Bets by the spread will be allowed on a trial basis. Use the same website Sports Betting Odds, Statistics and More – Covers.com to determine who the favorite is and by how much.

The entry for the favorite should be: "ND to win by more than 10 points." The odds for any team to beat the spread are 1:1.

For the second option, you can then use the money line odds from above: "ND wins but by 10 points or less."

A third option would be the moneyline odds for the underdog to win: "Syracuse wins."

There cannot be two winning options for a betting item: "Syracuse wins OR ND wins by less than 10 points." There are no odds for such bets.

Any questions, PM a mod.
