He verbaled after his campus visit this weekend to... DRUM ROLL... Stanford.

you know...i really am not that dissapointed...although you always want the most talent...we do currently have 7 Tight ends on scholarship....we really are pretty deep at that position

Yes we are - i think time to move to DE or especially WR - i think Nelson is a great start now that he has commited

Please get your facts straight.

He verballed several months ago and after the Willingham firing fiasco, he backed off the solid verbal to a "soft" verbal and has decided to look at other schools again.

According to recent articles, a Notre Dame selection is only about "30%" and there have been rumors he is enamored with Urban Legend and Florida.

Absolutley. We lost a great athlete...but as far as a TE/LB, we're solid at TE...and I think he would have gotten lost in the shuffle on defense.

This is what makes me laugh about this kid.He was turned off by what ND did with their coach and givin their history weis may only be there for 2-3 years.He loves urban meyer.Gee didn't they just fire a coach after 2 1/2 years with a better record then ty.Please go nelson.HE was just talking about playing for texas.HE is a three star and not even rated.I am sure we will be okay without his services.

I like Hiben much more then Dray. Hiben is bigger and just as fast. Were stacked at tight end so I don't mind.

Walt Harris is already starting to rebuild Stanford, wonder if they'll chase him off like Pitt did.
