I am glad they finally offered IN native Blake Lueders. He is good. He is needed.

Alford is already making waves in TX with numerous offers going there. Verducci is hitting NJ and the east coast. And as usual, Polian will work the west coast hard.

Linder is likely to be the only inside OL offer, since the depth chart is solid there now. Unclear whether they will offer more than one TE. Fiedorowicz is the best in the nation and depth in the 2010 recruiting class is not as deep at this position as last year.

So does he lean toward anyone in particular? Is he an Irish fan? I read his thread and see that the family likes Stanford at this point, especially since the early offer.

Im not gonna say much, but one lock besides Chance Carter is Corey Cooper. If He does not become Irish, I will be more than shocked

I think Corey was just waiting for his offer from ND to come, then, I heard he was going to commit to us. Take it for what it's worth, it's not concrete.

I am hearing the same thing...HOWEVER, the staff will need to deliver. It's VERY clear though that they are making more offers to the highest caliber players this year.

This should be a dandy...

I thought we had offered Lamarcus Joyner too? And man I hope we get a QB commit soon. And we better offer more DTs, we only took stockton in this class.

No confirmation of an official offer for Joyner yet.

The staff may feel that some of the DEs offered could grow into DTs.

Appears Chance Carter was blown away by his visit to Stanford and might not be the lock we all thought he was.

2010 DE Jibreel Black

They need to offer DE Jibreel Black. He has been in the news a lot lately with about 5 new offers (Michigan, Wisconsin, NC State, Maryland, Michigan State, etc..) in the past week. I saw his video and he is a big, quick kid.

if his grades are good, he may get an offer. ND just doesn't offer every good player regardless of grades and other off field stuff.

Seems to me that now that Tenuta is calling the defensive plays that some of the guys that were DEs in the 3-4 will now become DTs in the scheme they will be running now. If you look at the DEs that the staff have recruited in the past two years they've the bigger stronger type that would help keep the line busy and free up the LB's. The guys they are going after right now are the fast athletic Dwight Freeney type of DEs.
