Yep. For VAR, I wish they'd review fouls inside 30 yards or so. It takes literally 5 seconds to see if there was a dive or not. It really wouldn't even slow things down. If you can't tell after one review, then keep it as is. But guys are godawful about diving in dangerous areas.

Spain might be the best international squad I’ve ever seen... but I’d put France up with Germany four years ago and expect a very enterta8ning game.

France didn’t need help either... oh well. This Croatian midfield is such a joy to watch... I’d say in terms of international play they’re one of the better units I’ve seen. They owned this match a5 times and the French aren’t bums out there.

It didn't have an iconic moment or anything but I enjoyed it regardless.

My favorite world cup is probably 2010(minus the stupid horns). Italy crashing out, Germany giving Argentina and England a strong pimp hand, and my high school job allowed be to pretty much watch any game I wanted.

2014 was lit almost exclusively because of what Germany did to Brazil. Cold blooded.

Yup. Being a fan of US, Germany, Ireland, and Italy, really a bummer. Even the fringe teams I cheer for like Iceland and Argentina laid an egg. Add the two teams I dislike the most, England and France made the finals... yuck.

France deserves it though. And Croatia played a hell of a WC.

Hopefully all of our soccer candidates currently concentrating on bowling will refocus efforts to make a 1/4 finals run in 4 years.

We’ll see.
