Barca offering up to 138 million now. This is adorable.
New FIFA Manager Mode looks good... added new transfer negotiations, numerous cut scenes, press conferences, Ballon D'Or, U20 squads and games... Galaxy also have Stub Hub in the game, which is crazy to me that LAG got their park in before Celtic but it's all good.
My hype train is officially rollin... one month away bhoys.

this is awesome..you'll never walk alone haha
Me too, so pumped.
It will be interesting to see how they line up. I don't see how Klopp can keep Robertson out of the team, considering how good he was on Saturday. (You could argue that Klavan should start over Lovren, but imo that's a toss-up; both players are error-prone, Klavan slightly less so, but Lovren is more athletic and better able to recover from mistakes.) I also think Milner should start in midfield along with Can, although I am torn on whether the third midfielder should be Henderson or Gini. Gini's work rate is exemplary but he lacks a bit of creativity; Henderson's passing range is great to have in the 6 spot but he is not playing like he is fully fit, although that might just be early-season rust after sitting out most of last season.
If I am playing Liverpool, I am planning my attack on going at Lovren's side of the pitch. He's poor.
Firmino just scored. 4-1.
With this win, I'm wondering if Liverpool does what Arsenal normally do. Finish 4th, qualify for CL, then get late signings before the window closes. Still talk about Van Dijk, Keita and maybe a third.
They need another center back so Lovren is on the bench, that much is for sure.
The Lovren situation reminds me a lot of college football actually. It's like when you have a coach who recruits a QB who has the perfect physical profile for your system and then keeps playing him even though it is clear that he doesn't have what it takes between the ears to be a consistent winner. Same thing here. Klopp loves Lovren's athleticism and ability to come out of nowhere to make tackles, especially because his system requires leaving the center backs with tons of space to defend by themselves from time to time, so he's being way, overly patient with Lovren's glaring mental lapses. It's no different with Moreno.
But there has to be someone out there we can get who would be better. It's just too many errors.
Can Celtic not get paired with Barca for like the fifth straight time??
Salah looked preternaturally quick, and uber-directional changing. He also hustled his butt off. I didn't get the commentary that he had a ho-hum to poor game. I was rather stunned as to how dangerous he was. Mane and Firmino were also superb. Now get me at least Lallana back, and tell Henderson to try to bail Lovren out, and then Liverpool will only lose by (still) not being able to defend set piece muscle plays.
For those in UCL who do you want to see your team draw? Celtic had one of the more difficult groups possible last year so I'm hoping for just a milder set there... for Dortmund it'd be fun to get another crack at Liverpool... in fact that'd be a fun group in general... BVB, Celtic and liverbird...
Group A: Benfica, Manchester United, Basel, CSKA Moscow
Group B: Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain, Anderlecht, Celtic
Group C: Chelsea, Atlético Madrid, Roma, Qarabag
Group D: Juventus, Barcelona, Olympiakos, Sporting Clube de Portugal
Group E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool, Maribor
Group F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Napoli, Feyenoord
Group G: Monaco, Porto, Besiktas, Leipzig
Group H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, Apoel Nicosia
Rest in Peace, Tottenham.
Tottenham can play with Borussia. I don't think it's a death sentence, personally, as long as their manager doesn't punt the Champions League like he did last year.
