Not speaking so much to the apparent change but the triggers... what has really changed to make it so jarring NOW is really my point... we're talking about a suddenly, massively depressed fan base and such as if this hasn't been the norm for a while...?? that is what's curious.

You're right that there has been a segment of the fan base that has been unsatisfied for a long time. But I think the difference right now, is that Wenger looks to have lost the players, more so now, than in any recent memory. And on top of that, their current form this last month, is pointing towards the serious possibility they may not finish top 4. This team looks like utter shyte on the technical side, and emotionally, these guys couldn't care less. It's very entertaining for me since I'm an outsider looking in. Arsenals board has got to tell Wenger he's out at the end of the year and that he needs to announce it to the fans now. That could potentially give the players some motivation to battle it out the last 3 months of the season.

Barca vs PSG kicks off in 1 hour. I'm predicting a 2-2 draw and PSG goes through on aggregate. Should be an excellent match.

Results like that make me question match fixing. Really wouldn't be surprised.

The Suarez penalty does nothing to squash that notion. What was that nonsense? Holding his head and neck like Mike Tyson just unloaded on him lol. My fingers are hitting the keyboard harder typing this out than his head/neck got hit on that penalty call.

Just so everyone knows, I have no dog in this fight, other than I like Marco Verratti because he's Italian....

Here's my rant: Neymar and Suarez flops are disgrace. Utter disgrace. The whole football world is celebrating this, and they shouldn't be, because it glorifies the flopping bullshit play of Neymar and Suarez. Both of them flop all game long. I swear to God if I hear someone talk shit about Italians flopping ever again, ill lose it. This Barca team fought back and won yes, but PSG never even showed up. The German ref was totally duped by Neymar and Suarez. But the story will be about the comeback. What a tainted win that was.

I'm with you in the Suarez penalty, that was a joke call. But this one I disagree. The defender did himself no favors by falling down in the path of the attacker. I agree with the call.

I see it differently I suppose. It's unnatural to slow down and wait to be hit by the defender, who has fallen to the ground. Neymar was past the defender and could have got the ball. He didn't even attempt to reach for the ball. He waited and fell on the defender.

You may be right but I don't have sympathy for the defense. You can't trip up in that spot.

You shouldn't reward a forward for looking to fall over like that, I honestly don't care if ten defenders are on the ground... I've said it numerous times, flopping, and rewarding it constantly, is soccers biggest issue... certainly in this country anyway. And Roma is right, Suarez and Neymar are both embarrassments generally speaking,... they are world class players, they shouldn't have to resort to this garbage, and frankly any player caught so blantantly flopping (Suarez for sure here) should be given a retroactive card for starters, enforcement of that would clean this up quick.

I would have never thought seven Americans had scored in Champions League... That stat blew me away even as close as I follow our National development and such... I also never knew an American has won CL... with Dortmund of all things...

I certainly don't disagree here and I would love to see your retroactive card idea in place. However sometimes a foul is a foul and I thought that was a foul.

Pulisics goal starting with his run was world class. Great to see him developing.

As did the entire world.

PSG likely sacks Emery for this. Especially if they don't win France, and it looks like Monaco could wind up winning it.

Could open the door for Wenger to leave Arsenal and head to PSG. Emery lands on his feet I'd assume, but PSG has very high ambitions for Champions League. This is a massive blow to them going out this way.

MLS refs have gotten a lot better but this play got him sent off. LOL. Galaxy with A+ troll work.

FA won't punish Rojo for stomping Eden Hazard, but Tyrone Mings got five games for stomping on Zlatan.

I don't like either club whatsoever, but Chelsea and Man U in the FA Cup quarter yesterday was great entertainment for a neutral. I don't know if I can recall ever wanting to see Chelsea win a match other than hoping they beat Spurs last year so Leicester could clinch.

Then Mourinho channeled his inner Trump afterward and said Paul Pogba was the best player on the pitch. So everyone is talking about Jose and not about Manchester United bowing out of the FA Cup. Jose is the master of the mind f*ck.

As for The Old Firm, Celtic should have been awarded a PK at the end. The Rangers defender committed two fouls on the same play and nothing called. Massive no call by the official.

Eh,.. it's not like Celtic haven't gotten a couple key calls this year... Ranger fans are acting like this is their Martin O'Neill moment or something, which is laughable... it was a draw, in a derby... with Celtic 33 points clear of Rangers... I'm quite confident Celtic will do just fine against them in late April....
