Celtic 5 - 1 Rangers

Hat trick for Moussa Dembele.

Great day so far , just in from the club , 5 pints of Magners in.

Dembele MOTM . 5 goals , 5 for every tainted star on that scummy jersey the filth wear .

The filth also smashed up the toilets on away end .

The club that has no cash is smashing the bogs . These Orcs should realize that their " newco " club resembles that shithouse.

Just saw what they did to the away facilities... what freakin trash. Absolutely Scotland's Shame,... bigotry (this from a Protestant), racism, hatred, and they act like freakin childish apes when things don't go their way.

Sadio Mane really adds something special to that Liverpool offense. That pace is ridiculous.

Gotze: geez man, I really don't think there was anything he brought today that 36 year old ACamp couldn't have provided,.... hoping he's just playing catch up with fitness timing and such...

I loved Brown after saying his 'smack' to Barton after one of the goals was, "just checking to see if he was okay, wee lad looked stricken"...

City looking the part of PL champs thus far. KdB is an incredible talent. I wonder if Mou regrets letting him go at Chelsea.

ManU with Mou upsets me. They look like a real side that will only get better as the season progresses.

That Celtic victory was impressive, huh ACamp? Are you on the BRog train? Brendao Rogers lighting up the SPL. Shame about the damage by Rangers fans; classless.

Liverpool looks mighty dangerous going forward. Mane really adds the missing element to our attack. I'd like to see that front three with Cou in for Gini. It seems like Klopp wants him to burst forward and get into the box or dribble it up through the midfield. Those are attributes Cou possesses. He can even thread the needle with the pace we'll have up top. It's nice that we finally have options and some selections headaches. Migs was great today. Played very well and made a big save.

Hopefully we get Mama back fit soon enough so we have three quality centrebacks to choose from. I'm fine with Lucas as fourth choice. He made a mistake that led to a goal, but he was good other than that. He has always excelled at reading the game and breaking up play, qualities he showed today.

LC really misses Kante. It's a damn shame. I don't think they'll even get to European qualification this year with their commitments and squad depth. Hopefully they can turn it around and at least challenge in the top half of the table.

I was thinking the same thing. Rodgers sometimes experimented with Coutinho in a deeper role. I would be curious to see how he does as one of the two deeper midfielders in this new system. We woud give up a lot defensively, but gain a lot offensively, in maybe a Fabregas-esque way.

I wonder if Klopp might try it in a low-stakes game. Probably not, unless we run into injury issues with our midfielders. We have a number of guys Klopp seems to like in those deep-lying midfielder spots, and Coutinho is so dangerous coming off the left on his right foot.

smh... all these snooze fest champions league games/match ups on... four different channels, and I can't get the BVB game... but someone thought Juve vs. Sevilla would draw ratings....

and, of course, they are up 3-0 before the 20 minute mark... and I am missing it.

Didn't think city would gel this quickly with a new system. If we can stay reasonably healthy, and with Gabriel Jesus coming in December, I see no reason why we can't win the prem and make another run to the CL semis or beyond.

I am going to wait til City faces Barca to make some judgements on the UCL, but as long as they stay relatively healthy, I really see no reason that City shouldn't win the EPL. DeBruyne is the best player in the EPL so far this year.

Fair. At least we wouldn't be able to face barca until the quarters this year

Disappointing for Man U today. The Twittersphere is saying they were very lackluster.

Should still cruise through this Europa League group though, even if they rest key guys to prioritize the Premier League.

On the other hand, Fenerbahce and Feyenoord are fairly quality sides, so Man U might have to show some commitment, which they may or may not want to do. Obviously the PL has to be top priority.

Can we bring back Skrtel, just for today? His battles with Costa were epic.

Coutinho in for injured Firmino; Lovren in for Lucas.

Geez, they don't look any worse for wear though, do they? Counting today's 5 they've scored 17 goals in a week.

Spurs/Liverpool and a Manchester Derby in the next round of the EFL Cup. Not bad.

I love when top teams meet in League Cup games because you might get a chance to see how some of the younger fringe players hold up against top competition. For instance, LFC's Kevin Stewart might get a chance to play against the club that released him.
