Could they have been any worse? It started with calling Brady Quinn --Tom Brady and moved into calling Fhrom--- F-hrom. No idea who the players were on ND. Were they drunk or just really bad announcers?

They had one camera on the field that must have been shooting from outside the stadium. AWFUL. The announcers would call a play and the camera was on a player running down the field no where near the ball. Drunk. They were all drunk!

I actually thought Trev Alberts was rather good, yeah the other guy struggled with names, but overall I thought were both pretty pro ND. I only saw the first half(took a nap after the Freeman TD) but Alberts seemed like he couldn't say enough great things about Quinn,Landri< and Trevor Laws. The camera angles were kind of poor in certain situations, but this wasn't one of the big four networks so I can cut them some slack. Would you rather have not seen it at all?

ditto to the Trev Alberts props. I always liked him when he was on ESPN, him and herbie were quite the twosome. In fact, as I've listened to Mark May the last couple of years, I consistently have found myself wondering, "what on earth ever happened to alberts?" Now I know, he's slumming it out west with cstv. i thought his analysis was very quick and always spot-on. pointing out good blocks, understanding what happened on a play and why it happened. i wish there were more like him in CFB. by the way, who does everyone think is the best CFB announcers? Here's my rankings:

1. Charles Davis
2. Gary Danielson (never liked him before this year, he's really stepped up his game)
3. Kirk Herbstreit
4. Trev Alberts

worst: a tie between Musberger and MacGuire. I know they're not analysts, but i think suicidal thoughts every time either does a game.

Yeah, I will have to agree with you, it was pretty Bush League announcing, but that's what you should expect when the game is broadcasted on CSTV and not ABC, NBC, ESPN, or CBS.

Overall I don't think it was terrible, but there was some pretty bad mistakes. How many times did the camera man bite on the wrong runner in the option? Must have been the altitude.

At least 4 times, and sometimes they never got back to the play before it was over. It was TERRIBLE.

Mediocre is when ABC has Brent Mussburger doing the broadcast...AWFUL was the crew at CSTV. I know we're spoiled with NBC--BUT if we had done pay-per-view for the CSTV game I would have been livid. I can't imagine how terrible the viewing was on the computer--because on TV it was awful.

i agree the camera men were constantly faked out and didnt know where the ball was

when they were talking about landri the announcer got tounge tied and said

"there's dick sixty-six"....made me laugh

they couldnt pronounce half the guys name they didnt even try to say victors name well the one guy knew and kept semi correcting the other guy pretty high school radio show style if you ask me
