First off, I just did an experiment analyzing the prevalence of cocaine traces in currency from a random sample in certain suburbs of Birmingham. I had a 60% success rate, which is well below the national average of around 90%.

I got an email from my professor (In charge of this project for the forensics grad school) telling me that she wanted to include my results for their presentation to the American Academy of Forensics....hell yah, thats cool

Then! Once the presentation's been done, they are going to write an article for some forensics journal......and they will include me as a researcher! I just thought that was absolutely badass! I dont know of many undergrad's who have/will have their name on a published work before they even graduate

That's awesome man! I'm in the same boat as you are. My Prof had me run though a ton of primary source material so he could footnote me for his massive speech his will be giving at the World History Association in a couple months. Now... I just need to finish my freaking research...

First of all congrats. That is quite impressive to be published in the scientific community.
Here are some questions I have regarding conclusions. Does that mean that the cocaine usage in Birmingham is below the national average or could it be that most are smoking crack now? Or using straws instead of currency because of the money crunch? just kidding, congrats dude.

Of course, I'm a bit of a researcher myself. - I'm not sure how much coverage my study of "Washed-up Middle-Aged Men and The Effects Of Prolonged Internet Porn Exposure" is going to get, but I persevere.
