Congrats 2-4 !!!! Men like him is what makes ND 2nd to none.
This is what I love about Notre Dame. Hard work and determination can pay off. Same situation as Bobby Burger a couple years ago. Congrats, Chris.
At SEC football factories this would never happen.
Very happy for Chris, but let's be honest. If we are recruiting at maximum level this scholarship isn't available.
Nice. He deserved it after the block he made on GA3's first return for a TD.
Congrats and all of that, but if that is all it takes to get a football scholarship at ND, we are in deep trouble.
Why? We have open space and it's for one year. Why not reward his valuable special teams play
He is saying that he got it for more than just that one play and if we do give guys a scholly for just one play, then we are in trouble.
This young man got a scholly for all his hard work and determination.
Very happy for Chris, but let's be honest. If we are recruiting at maximum level this scholarship isn't available.
Everyone can think I am being the Scrooge or bleeding but I don't think anyone would be saying poor Salvi if we would have held on to Darby, Greenberry, Decker.
Very happy for Chris, but let's be honest. If we are recruiting at maximum level this scholarship isn't available.
Am I the only one that does NOT understand this move? I'm sure Chris is a nice guy and all but if we are supposed to be building a program back to winning ways don't you think it's a waste? I do. Just because the guy made a play or 2 last year they give him a scholly?
Ummm if you ask me you could give that scholly to a player that will actually help us WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than this guy does. Wasted scholly for sure but that's just my honest opinion.
But to be nice about it.................congrats, I think.
Yes, you are. Chris is a fifth year senior, meaning that giving a scholarship to him won't affect the recruiting numbers for next season.
