Cleveland is basically the anti-Astros.

Houston had quality bats and bad pitching.

Cleveland has bad bats and quality pitching.

But Cleveland has recently been infuriatingly clutch in the late innings to do just enough on offense to win games.

Sox have to be able to up their pitching game a tad, and the bats can't pull any disappearing acts.

Spot on and agree. If the bats for the Guardians show any sign of life, will be a fun series. I think we are throwing the rookie Messick and G Williams at your boys to start. Both solid.

Once Cleveland started to go with basically a set lineup they've been much better offensively. Vogt over manages. He would pinch hit for Babe Ruth if they brought in a lefty.

What they are doing is pretty crazy I don't see them losing in Chicago it's going to be nuts. Cleveland crowd wasn't even loud. The extra money from playoffs should help them this offseason they are going to have a boat load of money to spend. My offseason wish list:
Randy Arozarena sign him to a 4-5 year deal at 20 million a year.
Trevor Rogers- 4 year 20 million a year
They need probally 1-2 starting pitchers depending on what they do with Taylor and Smith. If they decide to make them starters then they may need a few bullpen arms.

Who the fuck cares about free agency. They're still playing in October.

When Jerry Reinsdorf spends " boat load of money", will it be on planet Earth or some fantasy land in a six part series on Hulu?

ND is 5-0. Cares more about who he would target in the portal and guys we didn't continue to recreuit or recruit hard enough.

White Sox lose 100 games two years running and are now playing for a spot in the ALCS. Cares more about his off-season wish list than what is going on in the present.

Seeing a pattern?

My dad is 77. My uncle is 81. Seeing them right now watching this team has been pure joy. Their other brother passed away last year. I'm sure they're missing him.

My grandfather's two teams with the White Sox and Notre Dame. What a season this could be for these guys. The ride so far has been great.

My mother 85, a huge Sox and ND fan is so freakin happy! We’ve had a text group of her, my brother, my son and myself all season and it’s truly been a joy. Especially, with us all living in different parts of the country. A season I will never forget! Let’s keep it going!! 🖤

I'm glad we got the one we did while they were all alive. My grandfather passed in 1982. He never saw a WS.
