Stoked. These last 50 or so days will go by slow unless recruiting picks up dramatically.

Im anxious to see this offense and how far it progresses from year one to year two.

practice starting will atleast give us something to read about...not as good as games for sure, but i'm definitely looking forward to reading about the progress of the squad for a month.

That makes two of us. I'm really looking forward to seeing how far our offense has come along. The first year is always the hardest and most difficult, I am hoping that this year we are clicking much better and are more consistent. I am also looking forward to seeing how our Defense plays. It will be fun to see the freshman play as well.

I wouldn't expect to see too drastic an improvement. Unless Cierre Wood makes some HUGE strides, teams will respect ND's running game but not fear it. I think we're going to see a fair amount of 3rd down and 5 or more yards, this year. Kelly seems to have a knack for solving those situations, though. I'm expecting modest improvement.

I see CWood having such a powerful year that he could consider going Pro next year. Hopefully that (him going pro) will not be the case - but I do want him to have an awsome year (love those RBs).

This is the time of year I get into trouble by buying new ND gear to keep me busy, the problem this year is not only am I buying stuff for me but my new daughter as well. Shell be 9 months old when the season starts and is accumulating quite the ND wardrobe

BK will have a press conference on August 5th and Media Day will be August 15th. The media will get to view the first 30 minutes of practice on the 6th.

Does anyone know what type of coverage will be available for practices leading up to kickoff? Last year UND.com would post some short practice video but I wasn't sure if the IE boards offer some 'inside info' too. This is my first year on the boards so I'm looking forward to reading practice reports on here every day leading up to Sept 3rd.

^ we usually have 4 or 5 guys with hidden cameras sneak into practice, then we spend 6-8 hours disecting the practice from streatching to cool downs. after this we compile a 15 page daily practice report. welcome to irish envy, this is our life
