Yeah, not sure what it is. When I saw his offer list, I figured it would be a tough pull. Then when I saw his visit list, I thought this has a decent chance of happening.

Per Singer, ND "killed it" with Nix. From his sources, ND is out in front. Don't be surprised if predictions start to come in.

I hadn't heard much about Nix with all the other really good backer prospects ND is in on.

Anyone have a stab at where Nix compares to his teammate NOB, Mikhail, Marco Jones, Christian Jones, Farriamo, Sacca, etc?

Watched some of his film and i have to say, he reminds me a lot of JD Bertrand.

Has that same instinctive style without many false steps. Looks to be a very sure tackler. If he gets hands on the ball carrier, they're going down

Seems like a true mike backer, although he'll get swallowed up occasionally since he's not over 6'0, similar to JD.

He's not the long levered athlete that like many of those other prospects are. At worst, he'd be a core ST Jonathan Jones type. My concern is that he struggles taking on the size of blockers at the next level due to his size/athleticism. Those instincts help immensely.

I would put Faraimo, Mikhail, and NOB in the elite category. Jones and Sacca a tier below but both very good. Nix would be last IMO. He's good but he is pure Mike LB. Everyone else has more flexibility.

Marco Jones is a Vyper in my mind. Reminds me of Daelin Hayes out of HS.

One is hardly 6 foot, the other is 6 foot 4. Sacca has a lot more positional versatility.
