He’s so so much more sudden than I expected. Very tough to believe there are 40 more talented WRs than him.

He is going to be the sleeper of the class. I've been impressed with any film I've seen on him. Cam Williams is the star/most ready of our WR class, but Gilbert will be one to keep an eye on.

Super encouraging these updates on Gilbert. Stuckey has done great with receivers since coming to ND.

Need to see it on Saturday. NC state has a good secondary. I think our WRs will play well, but saturday will be their first real test.

Regardless, I doubt that NC State can stack the box with our WR core and Hartman. Soooo, turn the RB's loose, big time!
Agree. It’s just people are appointing Stuckey as a great coach but our wrs have done squat in his 15 games as wr coach.

I do think he’s good but I need to see it Saturday, luckily in person.

Almost 90% of those 15 games were making the most of what Del left him with last year, and they with Buchner/Pyne as QB (mostly Pyne). We can basically throw those out of the equation - can’t fault him for those (not saying that you are).

I agree with you. I also think he’s good (really good). It’s unfortunate that there’s not much we can judge him off of, aside from production this season and recruiting, which do seem to be up.

Have him play safety and Tae play WR. I just want the fastest dudes at WR.
My thought exactly. Tae will take time to develop at safety and time to develop at WR as well, but needs less time at WR.

I’m not the biggest fan of Gilbert’s tape at WR. With the 4 freshman from the 23 class along with Cam Williams, Saldate and Tae in this scenario from the 2024 class I would love to see Gilbert begin his ND career at safety.

I like Gilbert a lot more than Rico … no clue what we’ll get with kj smith
