Recruiting rankings ebb and flow. 3 months from now players will have moved up and down. You are comparing rankings at the start of a cycle with where the players ended up in another cycle. Where was Munich ranked at this time last year?
Of course they will. But not enough to change the fundamental point. Let's check in in 3 months and see how many of our current defensive commits are now top 250 players. Maybe 1-2? The more important thing will be landing top flight talent that is not currently committed.

Mostly Parker, o’Leary and golden. The weakest recruiters on the team

For offensive coordinator they need a nationwide search and someone with experience - university is the biggest holdback there.

I would be all for Mickens getting d coordinator job and running freeman’s defense. We hired him for his defense after all. Safeties coach needs an actual good recruiter.

I think this year has proven we need two experienced coordinators around MF, not 0.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that, too. The only way I'd make Mickens the DC next year is if he got a DC offer somewhere else and making him DC would be the only way to keep him.

Freeman needs to make sure that the OC and DC next year can actually recruit, though. We can't afford to have another Al Golden, let alone two of them, on staff from a recruiting standpoint.

O'Leary has to go. He can't recruit and his players suck. But maybe DJ Brown will learn how to play football if he gets a 7th year
The funny thing about this is some sites have said that the players and recruits love O'Leary, even the Safety recruits we've missed out on. If that's the case then surely he would've been able to land some of them, right?

He needs to look at Keeley and understand that if he goes to Bama they will break promises about how much playing time he will get in his first year.
