They're definitely NFL players but Traore and Bryce aren't 1st round talents IMO. Keep in mind Tuitt was a 2nd round pick and neither of those two were as good as Tuitt or shown have shown as much on the field.
Bryce is just now coming into his own. He is finally adapted to his mature body.

I really think this is going to age poorly. Bryce looks to be maturing quickly, he was young and not done growing when he arrived at ND. Going from whatever he was, 6'3 maybe to 6'7 is a big change. All of these players develop at different rates, Tuitt showed up ready. Traore showed up ready then lost a season to injury and last year he was acclimating.

I don't think anyone will be complaining if our DEs are 2nd round talents. Tuitt wasn't all-world his first year. Blew up the 2nd and 3rd years. We'll see how this season continues to develop.

All depends on how they test. All 3 could end up late first rounders if stay healthy and test well. Add Moore and Carr for a 5 first round draft.

So would we want his first game back to be Miami? Would we not want players who have been playing already this season?

When he comes back what safety is getting far less PT? Against Miami, they are going to try and exploit some matchups throwing the ball.

Talich is playing like an AA, shuler is playing good against the run, not so great against the pass, especially vs UNC. Brauntae is very good in coverage, but not as strong against the run.

I think he is supposed to return to running next week, which would give him a couple weeks to ramp up to game shape.

Do you know if Augustine’s injury was same? Both broken foot, surgery needed, not out for season. Assume he has to be extremely close or so assuming no set back

Yeah, it's effectively the same.

Augustine was injured August 12 = 59 days from date of injury to eligible to return vs Stanford

Johnson was injured September 6 = 62 days from date of injury to hypothetical return vs Miami

Every foot injury heals different because of blood flow, but I think if it's reported that he's returning to light activity post-BYU then he would be on schedule. It's supposed to be something like 6 weeks to heal followed by a minimum 2 weeks to ramp up.
