He’s as good of a recruiter as he is an awful coach. Perfectly balanced.

Won two Pac-12 championships and a Rose Bowl while he was at Oregon. Also waxed OSU in Columbus.
He may not be Saban/Kirby Smart, but I expect him to win a lot of games at Miami.

He’s also almost a perfect .500 career head coach. 4-8 season incoming to balance everything out.

Again, no major Cristobal fanboy, but if you're using his FIU years against him, you need to look at the state of the program before he took it over. It was dead. 0-12 the year before he got there. Going 8-5 is a miracle.
He went 35-13 at Oregon. The first two years have been tough at Miami, but the program appears to be headed in the right direction, and the recruiting has been excellent.
