Interview with Bama site after his visit, it sounds like even ahead of his Spring Game visit we are in line for a summer OV. Made it sound like OSU, Bama and Georgia are locked in for June OVs. ND has one in line but without a date. 5th spot was viewed as open.

I assume the ND one is not locked in because they want him the big June weekend and the first 3 may conflict. This one has the vibes of being the bridesmaid at best but there is a glimmer of hope there with 2 possible visits in the works.

2023 Georgia safety Caleb Downs was back in South Bend again this weekend after a pair of trips last year and once again, left impressed.

He is obviously aware of the arc of #14, but he is another who mentions the impact of Bivin's legacy shtick.

And it is admirable, with Shuler and Bowen in the field, that they keep pushing for Downs. that is the way Georgia, Alabama and LSU (the last three champions)handle business.

He won’t end as one. They do some odd scaling where everyone increases basically over time. The 96s will become 98s, 4 becomes 5.
