The first guy I added to the 2023 Master Thread.

Took over for Tosh Baker at LT for Pinnacle. Blew up after he released his Jr film.

Fast feet and huge wingspan. Definitely an OT in college.

Loy said don't be surprised if ND offers. Watt followed him before he left ND and now Dre Brown is following him too. He and Quinn were following each other for a while.

I'd put him in the top group of OT's for sure.

Does this indicate being in poor position for other OL, or is he just super good?

Sinclair talked with him after his offer and the quotes were so positive that I wouldn't be surprised if Notre Dame is at the top.

BobbyCrus where would you rank him among the other targets?

Leaving out Proctor, I'll still go Freeling #1 but I'd take Paige at #2 a half step ahead of Sully and Okunlola. I have Jagusah at OG.

I've seen Paige 6 times against good talent including Anthony Lucas and he's the real deal.

One thing to also keep in mind is, his Dad's a Catholic school product from Harrisburg, PA and is 6-7--6-8 himself. So this isn't your typical... "My family grew fans of the local school (or SC) cuz we lived out west" scenario.

Which Catholic school? McDevitt or Trinity? That's my neck of the woods.

Curious why Jagusah at OG? I admittedly dont know much about him other than what is in his profile, but the few scouting reports i have seen on him indicate he moves really well, and he is listed at 6’6. What about him makes you think guard?

Something just isn't clicking with me. Yes he moves well but I don't trust limited film where so many snaps are dedicated to defense and running plays from right tackle vs small class competition. Reminds me of John Dirksen in that regard.

Gotcha. I wasnt sure if maybe you had info he was closer to 6’4 than the reported 6’6 or has t-rex arms or anything like that. I Assumed we would be going after the majority of true tackle prospects this year after last years haul Seemed to be mostly interior guys.

I have a feeling he and Trevor Lauck should start getting more attention. Not optimistic on these OL Clemson battles.

Jagusah, Paige, Burgess, Lauck would be fine by me.

Still, can’t see ND going 0-3 on Freeling, Sully & Pendleton.

Pendleton and Siereveld strike me as ND/Hiestand type of kids that we gotta beat the hometown school on. Absher I’m 50/50 on. Freeling is just a recruiting 1-1 slugfest that probably bleeds into the summer.

HH was here today. I can’t see HH going cross country if he didn’t need to. Freeling, Paige or Burgess are a must this cycle.

Talked to a coach at one of Paige's rivals and he hears it's Paige & Duce to SC with Washington in second for Paige. Washington OL coach Scott Duff is also from one of Pinnacle's rivals and finished 2nd to Quinn for Tosh. Word is they don't think ND is being 100% aggressive for him and there could be some blow back in how Tosh has developed. Also said he would be shocked if Tosh doesn't GT out unless injury opens up a spot for him long term. I asked where he would go... he said he should go to SC.

It sounds like SC has passed Oregon and is back at the top for local kids.

ND is in good position to land both Freeling and Jagusah. Slow playing Paige is the right move here.

It sounds like they want 5. Elijah, allegedly, is a take. Freeling is likely to pick last anyway, so I see no reason not to take Page as soon as they can. Unless there's someone better than Elijah that they think they could get (Okunola)

I feel like the fifth, if we take one, will be one of the Indiana kids that are currently in that next tier and would be on commit watch immediately upon receiving an actionable offer.

This is a good projection....
...if Kelly and Quinn were still coaches.

The "maybe" guy right now is Oetting.

The rest are all takes.
